Full job description

The Director will oversee the ADHC program at the Regal Heights ADHC. The Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating all of the adult care facility personal care services including medication management. The Director will oversee a staff including Licensed Practical Nurse, Medication Administration aides, and Personal Care Aides, and will ensure the care and well-being of all residents.

Duties will include:

  • Resident assessment evaluations and admissions [UAS's]

  • Development of resident care plans

  • Coordination, documentation, and supervision of all resident services including Medication Management

  • Management of care staff including supervision and development of plan of care

  • Interaction with residents, to ensure optimal resident care

  • Agency Quality Assurance and Compliance

Requirements:

  • A valid NY STATE Registered Nurses [RN] license and Bachelors Degree

  • Excellent clinical, supervisory, administrative, organizational, writing and communication skills

  • Professional experience in long term care is preferred

  • Familiar with NYS Department of Health Regulations for ADHC

  • Organized and a true team leader and team player.

  • Strong Management Skills

  • Two (2) to four (4)years' experience in a patient care setting.

  • Familiar with NYS DOH regulations

  • May require lifting or bending. Must be able to lift 25-35lbs

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
