Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Teradata Developer with expertise in cloud technologies to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing Teradata-based solutions while leveraging cloud platforms for enhanced scalability and performance. If you have a strong background in Teradata development and hands-on experience with cloud integration, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain Teradata database solutions based on business requirements.
  2. Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
  3. Ensure data integrity and performance in Teradata environments.
  4. Integrate Teradata solutions with GCP.
  5. Leverage cloud-based services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  6. Optimize data movement between on-premises Teradata and cloud environments.
  7. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Teradata queries and processes.
  8. Optimize and fine-tune queries and processes for improved efficiency.
  9. Lead or contribute to the migration of data from on-premises Teradata databases to cloud-based solutions.
  10. Ensure smooth and accurate data migration processes.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and infrastructure teams.
  12. Provide technical expertise and support to team members.
  13. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Teradata development processes.
  14. Document integration points and processes between Teradata and cloud platforms.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 6+ years of hands-on experience in Teradata development.
  3. Proven experience in integrating Teradata solutions with cloud platforms.
  4. Strong proficiency in Teradata SQL, BTEQ, and other Teradata utilities.
  5. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP Preferred).
  6. GCP - TPT solution / Bigquery DTS

  9. Knowledge of cloud-based data storage, processing, and analytics services.
