Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Teradata DBA to evaluate and implement Teradata platform features and create integration standards. The role involves supporting teams with feature implementation and managing Teradata databases, including performance tuning and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluating Teradata platform features and creating roadmaps.
• Creates Teradata platform standards and integration patterns.
• Performs Proof of Concept execution and socialization.
• Creates foundational architecture for new capability. Coordinates pilot onboarding to new capability.
• Support teams for key feature implementation, troubleshooting, and remediation of Teradata Users and Applications.
• Proficiency in Teradata. Work experience with Teradata V 17.20 or Higher
• Experience as Teradata Architect or DBA
• Expertise in Teradata database Cloud Migration
• Experience in administrating Teradata databases, including upgrades, performance tuning, and managing backup solutions like DSA and Data Domain.
• Proficient in SQL and Teradata utilities such as TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPump
• Experience in performance optimization, role-based access control setup, and managing database upgrades
• Proficient in utilities like NOS, QueryGrid and Clearscape Analytics
• Good Communication Skills
• Experience on Snowflake/Databricks
