Job Description: Intern - Data Entry (Institutional Advancement Department)

Department: Institutional Advancement Office

Location: Interdenominational Theological Center

Position Type: Part-Time Internship

Reports To: Chief Institutional Advancement Officer

Overview:

***You MUST be a college student*** The Data Entry Intern will support the Institutional Advancement Office by ensuring the accurate entry and organization of alumni and donor records within the department’s database system. This role plays an important part in maintaining data integrity and supporting advancement operations, including donor engagement, alumni outreach, and reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain alumni and donor information in the Institutional Advancement database.
  • Review data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Assist with organizing digital and physical files related to alumni and donor records.
  • Support basic reporting projects by compiling and verifying data as requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor and alumni information with discretion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Institutional Advancement Office as needed.

Duration:

This internship is expected to last approximately 8-12 weeks or one academic semester, with flexibility based on performance and departmental needs.

Compensation:

$16 per hour

Weekly Hours:

Approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility based on the intern’s availability and departmental workload.
