Job Description:
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Mid Level Database Engineer to support secure database administration, maintenance, reporting, and optimization activities for Moodle LMS and enterprise applications supporting U.S. Coast Guard operations.
Duties: ย 
  • Maintain and optimize SQL databases and data repositories
  • Support database backups, recovery, and integrity processes
  • Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues
  • Assist with LMS data integrations and reporting
  • Support secure data handling and compliance requirements
Qualifications:ย 
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 2โ€“5 years of database administration or engineering experience
  • Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
  • Familiarity with secure federal or DoD database environments
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and data protection procedures
  • Security+ certification preferred

Salary Range:
