Job Description:

We are looking for an Epic Cogito Reporting Lead Analyst to serve as our subject matter expert for Epic's analytics and reporting suite. This role centers on ETL development using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and hands-on Cogito reporting build including Report Workbench and Operational Reporting. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of Epic reporting experience, advanced SQL Server skills, and the ability to translate clinical and operational data needs into production-grade solutions, working across Accenture, Epic, client stakeholders, and offshore support teams.
Key responsibilities

  • Serve as SME for Epic Cogito; provide daily support and resolve incidents per defined SLAs
  • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading between Epic and downstream systems
  • Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for reports and ad hoc analyses
  • Develop and maintain Cogito analytics content: Report Workbench reports, operational dashboards, and analytics catalog items
  • Monitor ETL pipeline health and SSIS job scheduling; troubleshoot failures and perform root cause analysis
  • Validate report outputs and perform data quality assurance on clinical and operational data
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specs; liaise across clinical, operational, and technical teams
  • Coordinate with offshore support teams; maintain documentation and ensure HIPAA and data governance compliance

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Epic reporting and healthcare data management experience, focused on Cogito and data integration
  • Active Epic Cogito Certification
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands on SSIS experience package design, control flow, data flow, error handling, and production deployment
  • Advanced SQL Server skills complex queries, stored procedures, CTEs, indexing, and performance tuning
  • Experience with SQL Server Agent for job scheduling and SSMS Visual Studio SSDT for SSIS development
  • Epic Clarity and or Caboodle experience as SSIS source systems is a plus
  • Caboodle data warehouse knowledge fact dimension modeling, ETL pipelines is a plus
  • SlicerDicer data model configuration experience is a plus Clarity Caboodle Data Model certifications are a plus
