Job description

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Columbus area to identify a detail-oriented Data & Reporting Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will support critical data validation, reporting, and analytics initiatives while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of operational data. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and has strong technical and data management skills.
This position is fully onsite in the Columbus area and offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze, validate, and maintain operational data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity across multiple systems
  • Investigate data discrepancies, perform reconciliations, and resolve issues impacting reporting and business operations
  • Support month-end reporting processes and ensure timely completion of data validation and closing activities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data issues and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Monitor data quality, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups and data analysis functions
  • Experience working with SQL and large datasets
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
