Asset Protection Officer/ EMT for STARR (US8) Manufacturing Facility

Purpose

Support the business unit in achieving objectives as specified by the plant, while ensuring safety and quality through being an engaged team member

Duties

  • Respond to Plant Emergencies, including providing care to injured employees, chemical spill cleanup, security threats or disturbances, natural disasters, and fires.
  • Operating & Maintaining Fire Systems (fire sprinkler system, pumps, hoses, DIVs & PIVs).
  • Traffic Control, Plant Patrol, Vehicle & Foot Patrol, Investigations, & Mail.
  • Firefighting which includes MET Leader for Crew.
  • Reception and Registration of Plant Visitors Including Switchboard Operations.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting, Standing, Walking, Squatting, Bending (at waist) / Twisting, Kneeling, Stairs Climbing, Ladders Climbing

  • Job Specific Software
  • Complete Training for Position and Progress within Role
  • Must attain Incident Command & Interior Structural Firefighter, South Carolina First Responder, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Certifications, and have HAZMAT training. Complete SCFA 1152 course.
