Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years experience in a data privacy compliance, law, or related analytical field. Position Purpose: The Sr Data Privacy Officer is responsible for managing the company's Data Privacy Compliance Program which ensures compliance with all applicable data privacy and data protection laws and advise on artificial intelligence related matters
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. Prepare and maintain documentation applicable to the company's Data Privacy Compliance Program (e.g., templates, processes, memoranda, research and written summaries, etc.) in well-organized files that may be subject to periodic internal and external audit .
  2. Manage processes applicable to the Data Privacy Compliance Program which may include data mapping, investigation and documentation of data incidents, etc .
  3. Conduct reviews to identify potential areas of improvement within the program and develop, implement, and test improved processes and procedures to address those areas .
  4. Serve as a key point of contact for privacyrelated inquiries, including but not limited to negotiation of privacy-related contractual terms, and facilitate effective communication across teams .
  5. Conduct research related to applicable laws and regulations and assist in reporting compliance risk findings and recommendations to company management .
  6. Provide internal and external compliance training related to applicable data privacy and data protection laws, regulations, and policies .
  7. Assist internal customers with various data privacy matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies .
  8. Assist in interpreting compliance policies in response to questions raised by internal and external customers .
  9. Support legal department role in AI governance and compliance program by ensuring AI tools and models meet global privacy, data protection, and emerging AI regulatory requirements .
  10. Conduct AIspecific risk assessments-including bias, transparency, data usage, and automated decisionmaking impacts-and implement mitigation strategies .
  11. Assist in drafting and negotiating AIrelated contractual terms to address ethical, regulatory, and operational risks in vendor relationships .
  12. Support development and maintenance of internal AI governance policies and support crossfunctional teams in responsible, compliant AI deployment .
  13. Advise business units on legal and privacy implications of AI initiatives, providing guidance on regulatory changes and ethical AI practices .
Perform other duties as assigned. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
