Job description

PURPOSE:

The Master Data Manager is responsible for the governance, planning, and execution activities surrounding the Material, Vendor, and Customer Master Data. This position recommends, develops, and/or implements process improvements and data management strategies

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the analysis, design, and documentation of the integration of SAP Master Data into new business processes.
  • Oversee the identification and definition of business and/or product requirements, which includes managing the transition of requirements and use cases to the developers.
  • Manage the identification, development, and implementation of test scenarios, test scripts, and user acceptance training.
  • Analyze Master Data and recommend, develop, and/or implement process improvements and Master Data Management strategies.
  • Partner with change management team to develop and evaluate training communications, curricula, and materials, and train end users.
  • Manage assigned staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience with SAP Data Analyst
  • Experience with SAP S/4 MDG

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • Management experience preferred
