Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Data Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from complex data sets and providing actionable recommendations to drive informed business decisions. Your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization will play a crucial role in helping our organization optimize performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for growth. Responsibilities:
  • Collect, clean, purge, and analyze large and diverse data sets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
  • Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to extract insights and solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize data requirements, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Design and build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Create reports that will assist with workflow optimization
  • Stay up-to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to continually enhance the analytical capabilities of the organization.
  • Promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure the availability, integrity, sharing, and security of data resources.
  • Imports work orders into GIS database
  • Assists in the maintenance and improvement of the GIS database

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or related field
  • Proven experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualization
  • Proficiency in using data analysis languages such as Python, SQL, or similar languages
  • Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts, such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, or similar software
  • Familiarity with data mining techniques and tools to extract insight from unstructured data sources
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large data sets while maintaining accuracy
