The Salesforce Data Specialist will be responsible for supporting data and process synchronization across multiple platforms and teams to support ongoing data projects and data migration efforts. This role will be primarily responsible for ensuring data mapping and process gaps for data across several platforms including but not limited to Salesforce, Customer Data Hub (CDH), Oracle Product Hub (OPH), Entitlement Master (ETM), Contract to Order (C2O) Portals, Customer Onboarding, and Mulesoft. This individual contributor has advanced skills in exporting, analyzing, comparing and correcting data across multiple systems. They are an effective planner and communicator who builds, commits and reports out on project status. This individual will learn quickly, get up-to-speed on existing documentation and processes while working to improve upon existing frameworks.
You will excel in this role if you also possess effective communication skills, are forward thinking, and have a customer centric mindset with a passion for disruptive solutions.
What you'll do
  • Champion data stewardship principles.
  • Analyze and understand key business processes as it pertains to data.
  • Monitoring database performance.
  • Performing regular data integrity and quality audits.
  • Reporting / Summarizing the differences / addressing gaps with key stakeholders
  • Creating SQL/SOQL/Big Query/Python queries to extract and compare large sets of data in order to identify inaccuracies across multiple systems of record
  • Manage large cross-functional projects in partnership with Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Digital Strategy, Sales Support, Business Technology and Corporate COE's utilizing Agile methodologies
  • Define the execution strategy to meet the defined data business goals for the Salesforce platform
  • Proactively gather and prioritize user data and Data enhancement requests and coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly enhancements.
  • Facilitation of managing data loads and data enhancement tickets with our IT partners via JIRA and existing load process and templates
  • Perform data testing for configuration of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflow and validation rules in Salesforce with input from business leaders.
  • Participate in development requirements gathering and grooming sessions to represent data impacts including but not limited to data governance, historical data, future data, etc
  • Refining process and establishing new best practices for this work ongoing / documenting any changes to be shared with others within the business unit
  • Direct activities, assign responsibilities, set expectations and motivate team members toward achieving program objectives

What experience you need
  • 4+ years of experience in master data management and/or data analytics for B2B subject areas.
  • 4+ years of experience managing large datasets and running SQL, Python, Big Query and or other code language tools.
  • 2+ years of experience in Contract to Order system applications.

What qualifications do you need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience in Equifax Internal processes/applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL/BigQuery/SOQL and Python-Pandas applications.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft or Gsuite pages. (Excel/Sheets/Looker)
  • English skills both oral and written (B2)
