Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Management Manager to lead and oversee enterprise data architecture and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, enforcing data standards, and driving modern data platform implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Data Architects, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Logical DBAs, and Project Managers
  • Enforce data governance policies and establish database usage guidelines and architecture standards
  • Remove blockers for Data Architects by resolving cross-team dependencies and resource conflicts
  • Drive enterprise data strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Oversee implementation of scalable and modern data platforms

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Manager, or in Data Governance roles
  • Strong experience with modern data platforms and Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse)
  • Experience with data virtualization platforms such as Denodo
  • Familiarity with Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) or similar frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with real-time / streaming technologies like Kafka and Spark Streaming
  • Knowledge of DevOps / DataOps practices
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
