Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for receiving all incoming mail and packages from USPS, UPS, FedEx, and internal departments, ensuring each item is accurately sorted and delivered to the appropriate destination in a timely manner. The role also includes preparing and processing all outgoing shipments for clients, vendors, and internal departments within Old National Bank. In addition, the Mailroom Clerk is accountable for completing all daily print jobs received by Production Control.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $17.00/Hr. - $22.00/Hr.. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.
Key Accountabilities
Execution:
  • Sort incoming mail to ensure proper delivery
  • Deliver Interoffice mail and packages to departments
  • Package, sort, and send outgoing mail using UPS WorldShip and USPS
  • Monitor email for miscellaneous print jobs
  • Render daily print jobs
  • Create or Edit jobs on Rendering Machine
  • Order necessary shipping supplies from UPS and USPS
  • Utilize various mail equipment including letter opener and rendering machine

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must have good analytical and decision-making skills
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for preparing and maintaining daily reports
  • Ability to safely lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely maneuver a fully loaded cart
  • Ability to stand continuously for up to 6 hours
