Location: Huntsville, AL
Work Environment: On-Site
Role Summary:
Exiger is seeking a Director of Operations & Implementation to stand up and run the operational backbone of a highly strategic, federally aligned supply chain resilience program. Reporting into program leadership, this individual will own the execution of Red Team / Blue Team workflows, data onboarding, and action management within a live control-tower environment. This is a highly visible, mission-critical role operating at the intersection of national security priorities, advanced data and AI capabilities, and real-time operational execution-requiring strong leadership, technical fluency, and the ability to deliver under compressed timelines.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the operational execution of Red Team (supply chain vulnerability analysis) and Blue Team (mitigation and optimization) workflows across the program
  • Design and manage end-to-end data onboarding processes, including intake, validation, prioritization, and integration into the Command Center environment
  • Establish and drive the operational cadence for control-tower activities, including recurring analysis cycles, action tracking, and executive reporting
  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to translate operational requirements into scalable workflows and system capabilities
  • Oversee action management processes, ensuring insights are converted into clear, trackable, and outcome-driven initiatives
  • Coordinate across federal stakeholders, internal teams, and advisors to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Identify operational gaps and continuously improve processes to support rapid scaling and evolving mission requirements

What You Need:
  • Strong experience leading complex operational programs, ideally within federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments

  • Proven ability to stand up and manage cross-functional workflows involving data, engineering, and analytics teams
  • Experience working with large-scale data onboarding, integration, or analytics-driven in an operations center environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively with senior leadership and government counterparts
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel under tight timelines
  • Ability to translate ambiguous, evolving requirements into structured processes and actionable plans
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

Professional Experience Required:
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, implementation, program management, or a related field
  • Experience working in or supporting federal programs, defense, intelligence, or national security initiatives is strongly preferred
  • Background in supply chain, risk management, analytics, or data-driven operational environments is a plus
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or mission-driven organizations

Why Exiger:
Exiger is transforming how governments understand and manage supply chain and software risk. This role offers a rare opportunity to:

  • Work directly with senior federal stakeholders, including DoD and defense industrial base partners
  • Build and scale operational processes that will define how supply chain resilience is managed at a national level
