About the Opportunity:
Design, develop, and maintain innovative data analytics and BI solutions to generate operational insights to ensue sound decision making amongst Haynes International. Lead analytics strategy supporting all areas of Haynes International, converting data into meaningful & actionable business insights. Create strategy to move from Targit to Power BI.
Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
Education: BS/BA in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Systems, or Statistics (R); MBA (P)
Experience: 5-10 years in IT, Data, Planning, Manufacturing (P)
Areas of Knowledge: Supervision (R), Scheduling (P), Planning and Estimating (R), Data Analytics (R), Manufacturing/Warehousing (P), AX System/D365 (R), APICS (P), MRP (P), TARGIT (P), Power BI (P), MS SQL (P)
Skills: Windows-based software, data analytics, value stream mapping, manufacturing process flow, strong communication, math skills, leadership, inventory control, process optimization, data science, presentation skills, attention to detail, multitasking.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Build dashboards, reports, and data models for all departments
  • Maintain D365 supply chain data (run times, yields, forecasts, vendor lists, etc.)
  • Ensure data integrity between Shopfloor and D365
  • Convert Access/Excel systems to modern platforms (i.e. Targit & Power BI)
  • Create reports using TARGIT and Power BI
  • Develop KPIs and metrics
  • Integrate data across multiple sites
  • Create plan for moving from Targit to Power BI
  • Manage analytics priorities and team performance
  • Create data governance framework with the entire Haynes International Organization
  • Once on Power BI, create a self-service dashboard and data request tool/library
