Job description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathering Invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents and information from employees, other departments and clients.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent information.
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders.
  • Transferring data from hard copy to a digital database.
  • Updating customer information in a database.
  • Organizing existing data in a spreadsheet.
  • Verifying outdated data and making necessary changes to records.
  • Operating common office equipment, like scanners and printers.
  • Searching for and investigating information contained in files.
  • Entering data into spreadsheets and updating reports.
  • Reviewing daily production reports and entering manhour information.
  • Type in data quickly and efficiently.

 Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Work in an office environment preferred with 2 -3 years’ experience beneficial.
  • Experience in manufacturing production preferred but not required.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to prioritize duties and multi task as needed.
  • Demonstrate ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
  • Basic computer knowledge required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good math and analytical data analysis skills.
  • Speed of accurate data entry.

Training Requirements

  • All OSHA required and TTN specified training

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting
  • Computer Work
  • Lifting between 25-50 lbs occasionally.

Personal Protective Equipment

  • Safety Glasses with side shields (ANSI Z87.1)
  • Earplugs and/or ear muffs required. (company issued)
  • Safety gloves at all times when handling steel parts.
  • Long sleeved shirt or Kevlar sleeves and long pants when working on production floor.

Work Environment

  • Typical office environment with high emphasis on shop floor manufacturing environment.
  • Very good lighting
  • Temperature controlled)

The general facility has fork truck and pedestrian traffic.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
