Job description

Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical servicesto long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

As a Data Entry Trainer, you will be responsible for conducting, developing, and facilitating training materials for new and current hires to meet and exceed all aspects of SpecialtyRx. The position will be part of Training Department and reporting to the Head of Training in the Southcentral Region.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with South Central department managers to determine training needs
  • Design effective training programs for Data Entry & Customer Services Pharmacy Technicians
  • Train and support new Data Entry & Customer Services Pharmacy Technicians
  • Conduct routine audits for all operational modules for training needs
  • Ability to identify retraining opportunities
  • Implement new processes and policies at discretion of leadership
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Workflow, including Floor, Data Entry, Pharmacist, etc.
  • Perform ongoing assessment, monitor and guide new and existing employees
  • Work with internal teams to effectively resolve issues
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct with employees
  • Thrive as a team player in a fast paced, high energy, change oriented environment
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to including HR, Operations, etc.
  • Administer records of all training, in-services required by Company policies and local, state, federal laws, rules and regulations
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required and assigned by the Regional Director of Pharmacy Southcentral

Qualifications

  • Registered with Texas Board of Pharmacy / Licensed Pharmacy Technician
  • H.S. diploma or equivalent
  • Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred
  • Frameworks / ECM / Docutrack experience
  • Must be enthusiastic and comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people
  • Proficient in MS Office a plus
  • Ability to be mobile in performing job duties
  • Approximately 10% travelrequired

Shifts

  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm; Hybrid
  • Must be flexible in working later shift or weekends to accommodate any mandatory training for new hires
