Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to assist with entering, updating, and verifying information related to parts, requests, and departmental records. This position will require strong Excel and spreadsheet skills, accurate data entry, and regular follow-up with departments regarding outstanding requests or missing information.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both at a desk and walking throughout the facility to follow up on parts, requests, and information as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter and update data accurately into spreadsheets, databases, and company systems.
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets related to parts, requests, and other departmental information.
  • Follow up on open requests and outstanding items to ensure timely completion.
  • Walk throughout the facility to follow up with employees or departments regarding parts, paperwork, or missing information.
  • Verify information for accuracy and completeness before entering or updating records.
  • Review existing data and correct errors or discrepancies when identified.
  • Track parts and requests and update their status in spreadsheets.
  • Communicate with employees and departments to obtain missing information or clarify data.
  • Maintain organized and accurate electronic records.
  • Assist with preparing basic reports or summaries from spreadsheet information.
  • Ensure information is entered in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Perform other administrative and data entry duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent data entry and spreadsheet skills required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word.
  • Ability to accurately enter, organize, sort, and verify large amounts of information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees across different departments.
  • Comfortable walking throughout the facility to follow up on requests and information.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple outstanding items.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Previous data entry, administrative, inventory, parts, or clerical experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently walk throughout the facility to follow up on parts and requests.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and retrieve documents or information as needed.
  • Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data entry tasks.

Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Salary Expectations:

$20-$22 HR. DOE
