Job description

We are Peak Systems a technology staffing and managed services consulting firm connecting technical consultants with various industry opportunities. Technicians who join us may receive new certifications for working with our clients; we issue payments weekly, offer direct deposit, and have many nationwide opportunities. We are currently seeking a full time contract resource working in a Data Center.

Position: Data Center Engineer Location: Austin, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–6:00 Start Date: As soon as possible Employment Type: Contract / Full‐Time (depending on engagement) Hourly Pay Rate: $55.00 About the Role: We are seeking a hands‐on Data Center Engineer / Technician to support daily operations within a high‐performance data center environment. This role involves a mix of hardware support, cabling, troubleshooting, and general data‐center maintenance. Candidates must be reliable, detail‐oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‐paced technical environment.

Preferred Experience: Prior experience working in a high‐density GPU data center. Familiarity with enterprise server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro, etc.). Understanding of fiber types, polarity, and best practices for handling MPO/MTP assemblies.
