We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our client's team on a 4-month remote contract with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will leverage data to support business operations, improve processes, and deliver actionable insights. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, maintain operational reporting, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, identifying trends, and driving continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform data mining and research to support laboratory equipment maintenance and operational initiatives.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate key findings and business insights.
  • Maintain and manage data with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies through data analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of operational activities.
  • Validate data and ensure recommendations are supported by thorough analysis and research.
  • Assist in documenting processes, metrics, and analytical findings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or laboratory operations.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical or laboratory equipment management processes.
