Job description

Location: Austin, TX (in-office)

Employment Type: Full-time, In-Office

Department: Engineering

Compensation: Top of market salary + equity

As a Senior Salesforce Analyst / Administrator you will:

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong business understanding with Salesforce technical expertise. You are declarative-first, but comfortable going deeper - working with integrations, data models, and light code when needed.

As a Senior Salesforce Analyst, youโ€™ll act as a trusted partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations, owning Salesforce workflows end-to-end and ensuring the platform scales with the business. Youโ€™ll operate with a high degree of autonomy and help continuously improve how Steadily uses Salesforce.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Austin, TX or Kansas City, KS.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Build and optimize Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and process automation, following platform best practices.

  • Maintain high-quality data by preventing duplicates, enforcing validation, and ensuring referential integrity across objects.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions.

  • Own changes from idea through production, following a defined DevOps process using GitHub Actions and SFDX-Hardis.

  • Support day-to-day Salesforce operations, including user provisioning, permissions, page layouts, record types, and configuration changes.

  • Investigate and resolve Salesforce support requests, balancing responsiveness with long-term system health.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, usability, and data quality across the platform.

What weโ€™re looking for:
  • Ability to step into a complex Salesforce environment and quickly understand data models, automations, and business workflows with minimal ramp-up.

  • Advanced Salesforce expertise, with certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant strongly preferred.

  • Experience designing and supporting complex automations, including omni-channel routing and multi-system workflows.

  • Comfort working with integrations (REST APIs, JSON, Platform Events), including the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and support custom solutions in collaboration with engineering.

  • Strong technical judgment in deciding when to use declarative tools versus programmatic solutions.

  • A builder mindset: proactive, collaborative, and motivated to continuously improve systemsโ€”not just maintain them.

  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to guide non-technical stakeholders toward scalable, maintainable solutions.

  • Comfort operating as a technical owner for Salesforce functionality, making thoughtful trade-offs that balance delivery speed, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

Nice to have:
  • Experience supporting revenue, marketing, or operations teams at a growing company

  • Light Apex or Salesforce development experience

  • Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments

Additional Information:
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

What We Offer
  • Compensation above market: Top of market salary + equity

  • Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA

  • Retirement: 401(k)

  • A high-growth environment: Your work will have a direct impact on the companyโ€™s trajectory.

Why Join Steadily
  • Good company. Our founders have three successful startups under their belt and have recruited a stellar team to match.

  • Top compensation. We pay at the top of the Austin market (see comp).

  • Growth opportunity: Weโ€™re an early-stage, fast-growing company where youโ€™ll wear a lot of hats and shape product decisions.

  • Strong backing. Weโ€™re growing fast, we manage over $20 billion in risk, and weโ€™re exceptionally well-funded.

  • Culture: Steadily boasts a very unique culture that our teammates love. We call it like we see it and weโ€™re nothing if not candid. Plus, we love to have a good time. Check out our culture deck to learn what weโ€™re all about.

  • Awards: Weโ€™ve been recognized both locally and nationally as a top place to work. We were named a Top 2025 Startup in Newsweek, winner of Austin Business Journalโ€™s Best Places to Work in 2025, recognized in Investopediaโ€™s Best Landlord Insurance Companies, ranked No. 6 on Incโ€™s list of Fastest Growing Regional Companies, 44th on Forbesโ€™ 2025 Best Startup Employers list, and 63rd on the prestigious Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list.

Weโ€™re excited to meet you!
