Position Description: About the RoleDACUT Cannabis is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clone Care Supervisor to oversee the daily care, health, and maintenance of clones within our Flint cultivation facility.This role is responsible for supervising clone care activities, maintaining strong rooting success rates, monitoring environmental conditions, and ensuring all propagation areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company SOPs.The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly observant, and capable of leading a team while maintaining consistency across a high-volume propagation operation.Essential ResponsibilitiesClone Care & PropagationOversee daily clone care, including watering, moisture management, dome management, and plant health inspections.Monitor rooting progress and ensure clones are developing consistently according to production timelines.Identify clones showing signs of stress, disease, pests, or poor root development.Ensure proper handling and movement of clones throughout the propagation process.Support preparation of clones for transition into vegetative production.Team LeadershipSupervise and provide daily direction to Clone Technicians and Propagation staff.Assign tasks and monitor team productivity and quality.Train employees on cloning procedures, sanitation standards, and plant care SOPs.Provide coaching and feedback to improve consistency and performance.Maintain accountability for daily propagation goals.Environmental MonitoringMonitor temperature, humidity, lighting, airflow, and moisture levels within propagation areas.Ensure environmental conditions remain within established parameters.Communicate environmental concerns to cultivation leadership and maintenance teams.Assist with troubleshooting issues that may impact clone health or rooting success.Plant Health & IPMConduct routine inspections for pests, diseases, deficiencies, and other plant health concerns.Follow and enforce Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures.Communicate plant health concerns immediately to cultivation leadership.Maintain proper sanitation practices to reduce contamination and pest pressure.Inventory & DocumentationMaintain accurate clone counts, batch information, and propagation records.Assist with plant tracking and internal inventory documentation.Ensure plant movements and production activities are recorded accurately.Support audits and inventory reconciliation as needed.Facility Cleanliness & ComplianceMaintain clean, organized, and sanitary propagation rooms.Ensure trays, domes, tools, workstations, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.Follow all company SOPs and Michigan cannabis compliance requirements.Ensure team members follow PPE and workplace safety procedures.QualificationsRequired2+ years of cannabis cultivation or propagation experience.Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.Strong understanding of clone care and propagation practices.Ability to identify common plant health issues.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to follow and enforce SOPs.Reliable attendance and strong communication skills.Must be at least 21 years of age.PreferredExperience supervising a high-volume commercial cannabis propagation operation.Strong knowledge of cloning techniques and environmental controls.Familiarity with IPM practices.Experience maintaining propagation production records and plant inventory.METRC experience is a plus.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements.Ability to perform detailed plant care using hands and small tools.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in warm, humid cultivation environments.Ability to wear required PPE throughout the workday.What We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time OffEmployee discount programCareer advancement opportunities within cultivation operationsStable full-time scheduleTeam-oriented work environmentOpportunity to help lead a high-volume propagation program#Cult26
