1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:Responsible for developing and maintaining the technical IT / cybersecurity capabilities necessary for safeguarding the firm's information systems and applications (software development lifecycle), including every phase of the SDLC and software stack. This role focuses on the design, planning, testing, and implementation of cybersecurity technology projects, with an emphasis on network security, enterprise firewall platforms (including Palo Alto), and large scale security platform installations and migrations, including the transition of long standing legacy configurations to modern security solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Develop and maintain the technical IT/cybersecurity capabilities across all phases of the software development lifecycle and software stack, including threat modeling of application designs, static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), dynamic application security testing (DAST), penetration testing, and the integration of network security and firewall technologies into application and infrastructure designs.

2. Lead efforts related to designing, planning, enhancing, and testing cybersecurity technologies used throughout the enterprise, including enterprise firewall and network security platforms, base-lining current systems, conducting trend analysis, and performing capacity planning to support future system requirements, platform upgrades, and technology migrations.

3. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the use of new information security technologies or modifications to existing equipment and systems, including firewall platforms and network security architectures, to support proposed projects or workloads and enable efficient, secure, and scalable operations.

4. Lead the implementation and migration of information security technologies, including initial configuration, installation, platform transitions, firewall rule and policy migration (including Palo Alto environments), change management, and operational handoff, with a focus on transitioning from longstanding legacy security platforms.

5. Use sophisticated analytical thought, modeling, testing, and handson experience to exercise judgment and identify innovative and practical security solutions, particularly in complex firewall and network security environments.

6. Provide expertlevel technical support for information security technologies, including firewalls, network security platforms, and related infrastructure, delivering timely problem analysis and resolution.

7. Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity, including security platform implementations, firewall upgrades, and migration initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

2. Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and Mainframe security

3. Previous experience in leading complex IT projects

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree or MBA and ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

2. Banking or financial services experience.

3. Hands-on experience supporting enterprise firewall and network security platforms, including Palo Alto, with demonstrated experience in installation, configuration, and migration of existing security environments, particularly largescale or longtenured platform transitions.

4. Experience leading or supporting security platform migrations, including planning, execution, rule and configuration transfer, and optimization of legacy firewall environments.

5. Other security certifications (e.g. CCNA Security, GSEC, GCED, GPPA, etc.).

6. Other technical Certifications (e.g. CCNA, RHCE, MCSE, etc.).

7. Certification in Information Security Management (e.g. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)), or related security certification(s).
