To thrive as a Cyber Tech, you need strong analytical skills, foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, and a relevant degree or technical certification such as CompTIA Security+ or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools, firewalls, and network monitoring software is essential.
