Job description

Unarmed Flex Security Officer - All Shifts

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
  • Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
  • Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
  • Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
  • Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
  • This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
  • You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

  • Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
  • Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

These physical requirements are essential to performing the job successfully. Applicants should ensure they are capable of meeting these requirements prior to applying. Reasonable accommodations may be considered in accordance with applicable law.

Qualifications:

  • 18+ years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver license
  • Capable of following complex instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • NV Guard Card (PILB)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CPR/ First Aid Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work six days a week, on at least two different shifts
  • Understand that you may be called into work with little or no notice
  • Understand that as a flex, no regular schedule or advanced schedules are guaranteed

Shift: On Call; willing to have an open schedule for 6 days and 2 different shifts
