Job description

Position Summary

Metrica, Inc. is seeking an organized, outgoing, and highly motivated Sales Coordinator to support our growing sales efforts. This role will serve as the internal HubSpot expert, responsible for maintaining accurate contact records, managing the sales pipeline, coordinating client communications, and helping drive new business opportunities.

Sales Coordinator

Entry-Level / Early-Career Opportunity

Location: San Antonio, Texas    Company: Metrica, Inc.

Position Overview

Metrica, Inc. is looking for an energetic, curious, and organized Sales Coordinator who is ready to launch or build a career in sales and business development. This is a strong opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who has used HubSpot through college coursework, an internship, a student organization, or a first job and is comfortable learning by doing.

You do not need to arrive as a sales expert. We are looking for someone who understands the basics of HubSpot, communicates well, follows through, and is excited to grow. You will work directly with company leadership, help strengthen our sales process, and gain hands-on experience in CRM management, customer outreach, marketing support, and business development.

What You'll Do

•  Keep HubSpot organized and current by updating contacts, companies, deals, tasks, notes, and follow-up activity.

•  Help research, organize, and qualify prospective customers and new business opportunities.

•  Draft and send follow-up emails and outreach messages; schedule meetings and help track next steps.

•  Support warm calls and, as your confidence grows, make focused cold calls to prospective customers.

•  Track pipeline activity, deadlines, and progress and prepare clear, simple sales updates.

•  Assist with presentations, marketing campaigns, events, and other projects that support company growth.

What We're Looking For

•  A recent bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

•  Approximately 0-3 years of experience; internships, campus leadership, and part-time business experience count.

•  Working knowledge of HubSpot from coursework, an internship, a student organization, or an early-career role.

•  Comfort using basic HubSpot functions such as contact and deal records, tasks, notes, email, scheduling, and activity tracking.

•  A friendly, professional communication style and the confidence to speak with customers by email, video, and phone.

•  Strong organization, attention to detail, reliability, curiosity, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Why This Role Is a Great Place to Start

•  Work directly with the President and other experienced company leaders.

•  Learn the full sales and business-development process while taking ownership of meaningful work.

•  Grow your responsibilities as your skills develop and Metrica expands its sales organization.

•  Bring ideas, improve processes, and see the impact of your work.

Reporting Structure

This position will report directly to the President of Metrica, Inc. until the company hires a Director of Business Development, at which time reporting may transition.
