LayerZero The Future is Omnichain. Founded in 2021, LayerZero's vision is to create a community of cross-chain developers, building dApps that are no longer constrained by individual blockchain capabilities. With LayerZero's simple, generic messaging protocol, builders will develop cross-chain dApps designed to unify the power of individual blockchains.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly capable and motivated full-time intern to work closely with the Crypto BD team on client management, deal origination and closure, research and more. This role will support Senior BD Leads and give you the chance to lead deals of your own—a paid internship that offers a unique entry into the crypto space.

In addition to driving business development, you will play a key role in supporting GTM initiatives, participating in flagship conferences, and establishing thought leadership through an active online and offline presence. WHAT YOU'LL DO Market Research & Development : Analyze the market to identify unique opportunities, competitors, and new trends within the broader crypto ecosystem. Lead Generation : Drive growth through prospecting and qualification within the crypto BD vertical via various channels (X.com, LinkedIn, conferences), generating net new opportunities and meetings for the Crypto BD team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work cross‐functionally across teams on Ecosystem and GTM to drive meaningful integrations and initiatives, draft impactful customer proposals aligned to our business standards. Enable and Evangelize : Help enable teams to build out their core protocol functionalities using the LayerZero stack. Be an evangelist around LayerZero's core ethos, the opportunities available through using the protocol, and the support and guidance given by the LayerZero team.

WHO YOU ARE Extremely knowledgeable on all things DeFi – current trends, interesting projects, interoperability mechanics, and industry direction over the next year. Demonstrated interest in crypto publicly: blogs, X posts, group participation, and sharing learnings. Natural problem solver who is highly organized and can juggle multiple tasks.

Proactive, takes initiative, and thrives in fast‐paced, ever‐changing environments. Ideal experience in a startup environment. Solid understanding of business development operations, deal tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working across different teams. Ready to take on a high level of responsibility and excited to support the crypto team closely and actively.
