Addison Group is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking a Customer Success Manager to join its team. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused leader who enjoys balancing strategic account management, customer advocacy, team development, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

The Customer Success Manager will oversee key customer relationships while supporting the day-to-day success of the customer service team. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to customers, drive service excellence, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from order fulfillment through product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value customer accounts and foster long-term partnerships
  • Act as the primary escalation resource for complex customer issues and service concerns
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Customer Service Representatives
  • Conduct regular team check-ins, performance discussions, and mentoring activities
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support customer needs
  • Communicate proactively regarding production schedules, delivery timelines, product launches, and service updates
  • Monitor customer performance metrics, forecasts, and account trends to identify opportunities and risks
  • Support onboarding activities and implementation efforts for new customers and programs
  • Help improve internal processes, communication standards, and service workflows
  • Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, facility visits, and other account management activities
  • Maintain accurate customer records and system data within ERP platforms

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Customer Service, or a related client-facing role
  • Experience managing strategic customer relationships in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
  • Previous leadership, mentoring, or team development experience
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, production environments, or supply chain operations is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
