The Customer Solutions Manager will be responsible for supply chain management solutions engineering and serve as a consultant to deliver projects, manage proposals, and provide critical input to the implementation process. Using practical knowledge of international products, domestic dray services, warehousing and inland transportation, will craft a solution that helps to improve the customers’ supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide value propositions by identifying opportunities through rigorous data collection and analysis; craft marketable solutions for clients
  • Identify, propose, and deliver key initiatives that improve the client’s supply chain operations and/or drive efficiency into the team’s internal processes
  • Develop and deliver productivity and solutions for the account
  • Ability to travel to the extent required by the client; up to 30% - 40%
  • Work with MEDLOG’s Sales team to identify MEDLOG opportunities and present value propositions (efficiency gain, cost savings, quality of service for the Strategic Customers)
  • Contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures
Position Specifications:
  • BA/BS; preferred in Supply Chain and Logistics, Analytics, or Industrial Engineering
  • 2+ years of related / practical experience in domestic and international logistics
  • Warehouse Operations knowledge with practical experience or strong understanding
  • Strong knowledge of YMS/TMS/WMS
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data for modeling, network optimization, and/or supply chain redesign purposes
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations
Technical Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong analytical skills, including using various analyses, data mining and simulations in Microsoft BI, MS Access and Excel.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities within the customer’s supply chain
  • Experience with developing expected P amp;L’s for new opportunities
  • Practical experience in developing new and innovative operational solutions.
  • Project Management Skills and continuous improvement experience
