Summary of role:

The Customer Solutions Professional will play a critical role in driving commercial growth by strengthening the connection between Sales, Marketing, and customers across Southwest Europe. Acting as a key partner to the Commercial organisation, this role will enhance customer engagement, improve sales effectiveness, and elevate Maersk's position as the preferred integrated logistics partner.

The ideal candidate combines a strong commercial mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and has a passion for translating complex logistics capabilities into compelling customer value propositions. Through impactful customer interactions, thought leadership initiatives, differentiated trade show presence, and targeted go-to-market activities, the Customer Solutions Professional will help create meaningful customer experiences and support business growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the key link between Area Sales and Regional Marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximise the impact of commercial and marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales teams to develop compelling customer presentations and value propositions that connect Maersk's integrated logistics solutions to customer strategies and business challenges.
  • Create and adapt sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, videos, customer success stories and other customer-facing content.
  • Support the commercial organisation in positioning Maersk's integrated logistics capabilities, bundled solutions and new products in the market.
  • Plan and execute customer engagement activities, including executive breakfasts, roundtables, thematic webinars and industry events.
  • Enhance Maersk's presence at trade shows and conferences through differentiated experiences, presentations, workshops and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Develop and coordinate customer-facing campaigns, digital assets and landing pages to support go-to-market activities for new products and bundled solutions.
  • Showcase Maersk's operational capabilities, including control tower concepts and other tangible customer experiences, to strengthen customer confidence and trust.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Product, Operations and Marketing teams to create customer experiences that support lead generation, customer retention and revenue growth.
  • Identify and share best practices, customer success stories and industry insights to improve commercial effectiveness across markets.
  • Remain informed about market trends, customer needs and competitive developments to continuously improve customer engagement and solution positioning.
Requirements:
  • Solid professional experience in B2B marketing, commercial enablement, sales enablement, customer engagement, business development or related functions.
  • Experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain or another complex B2B industry is preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating value and supporting business growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Experience developing customer-facing content, sales materials, campaigns, events or thought leadership initiatives.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Proactive, collaborative and execution-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within Southwest Europe on a regular basis.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken. French is considered a strong advantage.
