Quantum Leap Research is seeking Customer Solutions Engineers to design, build, and support integrated infrastructure solutions for internal and external customers.


This team operates at the intersection of systems engineering, networking, automation, and customer engagement—serving as the “glue” that connects technologies into workable, reliable solutions.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, integrating systems, and working directly with customers to deliver outcomes.


Responsibilities:

  •  Design and deploy end-to-end infrastructure solutions for customer environments
  • Integrate multiple technologies across:
    • Linux systems
    • Networking environments
    • Automation frameworks
  • Work directly with customers to:
    • Understand requirements
    • Translate needs into technical solutions
    • Deliver and support implementations
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across systems, networking, and applications
  • Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and scripting
  • Build and configure systems, ensuring reliability and performance
  • Participate in system integration and validation efforts
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and security teams
  • Support ongoing operations and continuously improve deployed solutions


Qualifications:

Required

  •  Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Linux systems engineering / administration
    • Networking fundamentals (routing, connectivity, troubleshooting)
  • Experience with:
    • Automation tools (Ansible preferred)
    • Scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
    • System integration across multiple technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across:
    • OS
    • Network
    • Application layers
  • Experience working in customer-facing or stakeholder-facing roles
  • Ability to work independently and drive solutions forward


Preferred

  • Experience with:
    • RF (radio frequency) technologies
    • Audio systems or related technologies
  • Exposure to:
    • Secure or regulated environments
    • Multi-domain or complex integration challenges

 

Compensation and Benefits:

We seek the best-and-brightest professionals at all levels so offer highly competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.


Salary Range: $135,000 - $165,000. Salary ranges reflect compensation for qualified candidates across a range of experience levels and are flexible; actual salary will be determined based on demonstrated skills, experience, and performance.


Company-sponsored benefits include: 6% 401(k) company match with immediate vesting, educational assistance up to $7,000 per year, 100% insurance premium subsidy for employees (75% for dependents), Anthem medical, Guardian dental, life and disability coverage, 3 weeks’ vacation, 2 weeks sick leave, and 11 holidays.
