Responsibilities of the Customer Service Manager – Manufacturing
- Manage, train, mentor, and review performance of customer service team
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service experience, create engaged customers, and facilitate organic growth
- Prepare knowledge-based materials and custom product quotes
- Communicate directly with customers as needed to gather feedback, resolve issues, and ensure their needs are met
- Inform organization stakeholders of changes to customer demand, technical requirements, or other potential impacts to the business
- Compile reports and analyze statistics
- Foster a safe, customer-focused work environment
Qualifications of the Customer Service Manager – Manufacturing
- Associate degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in a related customer service role
- Extensive knowledge of customer service principles
- Previous experience in a manager role preferred
- Knowledge of MRP or other computer systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
