Job Description

Reed.ai is looking for a Reed.ai Customer Growth Manager to join their team in Holborn, London.

About Us

Reed.ai is an early-stage AI company on a mission to transform how people find work and how businesses find talent.

We're at an exciting stage of growth, building an AI-powered recruitment platform that helps SMEs hire faster, smarter, and more cost-effectively. As we scale, we're looking for exceptional people who thrive in fast-moving environments and want to play a key role in shaping the future of recruitment.

Overview

We're looking for a high-energy, commercially minded Customer Growth Manager to help scale Reed.ai's customer base and maximise platform engagement. Your mission will be to drive adoption, activation, retention, and advocacy across both candidates and employers, ensuring every customer experiences the full value of the platform and contributes to our growth journey.

Your core focus will be:

  • Drive platform adoption, activation, and engagement across both candidates and employers

  • Build strong customer relationships that increase retention, advocacy, and long-term value

  • Help employers achieve successful hiring outcomes through expert guidance and proactive support

  • Identify growth opportunities and contribute directly to customer acquisition and platform expansion

  • Capture customer insights and work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to improve the Reed.ai experience

You'll be an exceptional communicator who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers succeed. Working closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing, you'll bring customer insights to the heart of our decision-making and play a key role in shaping how Reed.ai grows.

You'll be a self-starter who embraces ownership, thrives in ambiguity, and turns ideas into action. Curious, adaptable, and driven by results, you're energised by building something new and making a measurable impact every day.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Customer Growth

  • Proactively identify, engage, and convert opportunities with employer customers, without waiting to be prompted
  • Support early-stage sales conversations, outreach, follow-ups, and relationship-building activity
  • Help drive platform adoption, activation, and engagement across both employers and candidates
  • Spot opportunities to increase customer value, improve retention, and turn users into advocates

Own Customer Outcomes

  • Take ownership of customer relationships, ensuring employers and candidates get value from Reed.ai quickly
  • Act as a trusted partner to employers, helping them achieve better hiring outcomes through the platform
  • Guide users through challenges, remove blockers, and resolve issues with pace and care
  • Bring structure, urgency, and follow-through to every customer interaction

Build, Learn, Improve

  • Work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to share customer insights and improve the Reed.ai experience
  • Identify what is and isn't working across the customer journey, then take action to improve it
  • Help shape processes, playbooks, messaging, and ways of working as the business scales
  • Use data, feedback, and customer conversations to prioritise the activity that will have the biggest impact
Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone with a true startup mentality: hungry, proactive, adaptable, and excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up.

You'll likely bring:

  • Experience in recruitment, sales, customer success, account management, or another fast-paced customer-facing role
  • A self-directed approach, with the confidence to take initiative and drive work forward with minimal oversight
  • Strong commercial instincts and a natural willingness to pick up the phone, start conversations, and create opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
  • High energy, resilience, and comfort working in ambiguity
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to spot issues, act quickly, and keep momentum high
  • Curiosity about AI, recruitment technology, and how great products create value for customers
  • A genuine desire to be part of an early-stage business and help shape how it grows

You'll thrive here if you want ownership, not hand-holding. You'll be the kind of person who sees what needs doing, takes responsibility, and makes things happen.

Benefits
  • Hybrid working as standard
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Flexible holiday scheme
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Enhanced family leave benefits
  • Insurance benefits including life assurance
  • Quarterly performance related bonus
  • Love Mondays events
  • Office in a fantastic location, with countless bars, restaurants and theatres right on the doorstep

We're always on the lookout for people who want to make a difference and are passionate about helping others progress their careers. It's time to Love Mondays!
