Job description

Customer Experience SpecialistAuto Park Ford | Sturgis, Michigan

People remember how you made them feel. That's why we're hiring.

At Auto Park Ford, we believe buying a vehicle should be one of the most exciting and enjoyable experiences a customer has—not one of the most stressful.

We're looking for an exceptional Customer Experience Specialist to become the face of our dealership. As the first impression of Auto Park Ford, you will represent our dealership through your professionalism, business-professional appearance, hospitality, and commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience from the moment a customer arrives. This is not a sales position. You won't be negotiating prices or earning commissions on vehicle sales. Instead, you'll be responsible for creating an outstanding first impression, guiding customers through their visit, and delivering a world-class vehicle presentation that leaves every guest confident, informed, and excited about their purchase.

If you've worked in luxury hospitality, hotels, restaurants, retail leadership, airlines, customer service, event management, banking, healthcare, or any industry where creating memorable customer experiences matters, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you'll help ensure every customer receives a first-class experience from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting every guest promptly with professionalism and enthusiasm.

  • Managing customer traffic throughout the dealership and ensuring every guest is assisted quickly.

  • Learning about each customer's needs before introducing them to the appropriate manager.

  • Presenting vehicle features, technology, safety systems, and ownership benefits in an engaging, pressure-free manner.

  • Conducting personalized vehicle deliveries and ensuring customers understand their new vehicle before leaving.

  • Assisting customers with FordPass, Bluetooth pairing, mobile device setup, connectivity features, and vehicle technology.

  • Helping maintain exceptional customer satisfaction and online review scores.

  • Following up with customers after delivery to answer questions and ensure complete satisfaction.

  • Working closely with our sales and service teams to create a seamless ownership experience.

  • Helping maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional showroom environment.

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who naturally enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. This individual will be one of the first people our customers meet and will serve as a daily ambassador for the Auto Park Ford brand.

Ideal candidates possess:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A polished, business-professional appearance with a commitment to excellent personal grooming and presentation.

  • A warm, energetic, confident, and welcoming personality.

  • Professional poise and the ability to make an outstanding first impression with every customer interaction.

  • Confidence speaking with people from all backgrounds while maintaining the highest level of courtesy and professionalism.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

  • A positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed.

  • Comfort using technology including smartphones, tablets, and computer systems.

  • A genuine passion for hospitality, customer service, and creating memorable experiences.

Automotive experience is NOT required.

If you've been successful in luxury hospitality, hotels, restaurants, retail leadership, concierge services, airlines, banking, healthcare, or other customer-focused industries, your experience may translate perfectly.

Why Auto Park Ford?

Auto Park Ford is a privately owned, family-operated dealership that believes people deserve a better dealership experience. Our mission is simple: treat customers the way we'd want our own family treated.

We offer a culture built around teamwork, integrity, professionalism, and continuous improvement—not high-pressure sales tactics. Our employees are empowered to focus on relationships rather than transactions, creating loyal customers who return for years and confidently refer their friends and family.

We proudly provide benefits that help us stand apart, including:

  • Competitive compensation

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Paid time off

  • Employee discounts

  • Career advancement opportunities

  • Ongoing training and professional development

  • A supportive, team-oriented work environment

The Ideal Candidate

This position is perfect for someone who believes exceptional customer service is an art. You notice the little things. You enjoy making people feel welcome. You understand that your professionalism, appearance, attitude, and attention to detail help shape every customer's perception of our dealership. You take ownership of every interaction and understand that one outstanding experience can create a customer for life.

If you have a servant's heart, enjoy building relationships, and want to be part of a dealership redefining the customer experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Join Auto Park Ford and help us deliver an experience that customers will remember long after they drive home.
