Your Role:
Project Overview & Description: In line with the operational excellence, developing a standardized system is key for process and quality control. The project involves refining the existing Control Plans For mill #2 and #3.
Project Description & Deliverables: Also, a robust decision tree for mill #3 in regards of 1st: Quality, 2nd: Productivity and 3rd: Equipment preservation; this decision tree could become the prompt for the automated process control with a machine learning tool.
Create work instructions for activities that have been a cause of quality complaints.
Also will learn about the quality tools that are used to develop a control plan and the subsequent documents.
The applied knowledge from college, with the support of the plant staff, will bring improvements, and the intern will learn how to translate them into I3 Savings.
Ideal Candidates Are: Pursuing a degree in a relevant field, e.g., Industrial Engineering/ Management, etc.
