Role Overview

As a TPM Intern, you will work closely with members of company-wide business & Engineering teams to help define, streamline, design and analyze data to build business requirements and then work with engineering teams to articulate requirements, further perform functional & technical data & system analysis, drive engineering to implementation via all phases of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Drives execution with a sense of urgency and technical depth. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess a high degree of collaborative skills, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively on many levels. Define, iterate and improve operation excellence in large organization. High exposure to various tech and business leaders depending on the focus of initiative. End-to-end responsibility: from planning and strategy development to execution and accountability for quarterly and annual goals.

What You Will do

  • Develop new tools and process to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Create and manage long-term goals of the organization.
  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
  • Prioritize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Identify systems needs and/or define process to improve efficiency and enable reliability and scalability.
  • Able to speak the language of engineers and lead initiatives involving non-functional requirements and platform-level changes.
  • Analytical Depth: Sharp with metrics, able to deep dive into data to identify gaps, prioritize effectively, and move with urgency in dynamic environments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or C++)
  • Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SDLC
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to distributed systems or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Prior internship or research experience in data engineering, or systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ownership
  • Ability to: Break down problems, Track deliverables and Communicate progress clearly

Eligibility & Program Details

  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university during the internship
  • Preferred academic level: Sophomore, Junior, Senior
  • Internship Term: Summer 2026 (10-week program)

Pay & Benefits

  • Internships are full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Hourly Pay Range: $40 – $45 per hour; we do not anticipate overtime work, but if there is, any overtime hours would be paid in accordance with applicable law
  • Compensation is based on market location, skills, and experience
  • Mentorship, performance feedback, and final evaluation
