Job Description:

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager with a true hunter mentality to generate new business and build strategic partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a field-based sales environment, enjoys engaging with senior decision-makers, and wants to play a key role in driving company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a strong outbound sales pipeline to identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Present solutions to senior stakeholders, including executives and ownership groups, to drive partnership agreements
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with developers, builders, and key industry partners
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
  • Deliver tailored presentations that clearly communicate value and differentiate offerings
  • Track and report on pipeline activity, deal progress, and revenue forecasts
  • Partner with internal teams to align sales efforts with operational capabilities and market strategy
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, expand market reach, and increase efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, or strategic partnerships with a strong focus on new business generation
  • Proven success selling to VP-level, C-suite, or ownership-level decision-makers
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close
  • Background in real estate development, telecommunications, fiber, or related industries preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude with CRM systems (experience with tools like Monday.com or Airtable is a plus)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and take initiative beyond core responsibilities
