The Job at a Glance

As the Manager, Customer Partnerships (Internally known as PARTnership Builder) you will maintain relationships with existing customers and strategically seek out relationships with potential customers. Being a sales guru, you will proactively manage your day by placing a high volume of outbound calls; you see each phone call as an opportunity to form a personal emotional connection with customers and make it your mission to learn customer challenges and utilize Parts Town value proposition to find solutions. You describe yourself as proactive and have a passion for facilitating all aspects of the sales process including identifying new opportunities, developing sales solutions, closing sales opportunities, negotiating pricing and providing outstanding customer service and follow-up.

A Typical Day

  • Place a high volume of outbound calls to service company customers; accountable for achieving daily metrics related to dials, talk time, and logging tasks into CRM (Salesforce.com).
  • Integrate all sales activities into CRM for timely, accurate reporting.
  • Sell Parts Town solutions and value proposition to targeted customer base.
  • Drive revenue by prospecting and building a pipeline while simultaneously fostering personal relationships with potential and existing customers in your assigned region.
  • Identify and develop new account opportunities via account research and calling prospective clients.
  • Conduct research on accounts to develop an understanding of the account’s business issues and other relevant information.
  • Report out on top opportunities each week and lead book of business reviews on a monthly/bi-monthly basis with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience leadership for the team.
  • Partner with Customer Experience team members to develop and grow customer relationships.
  • Educate customers on Parts Town resources and capabilities (electronic resources, technical support, manufacturer relationships etc.).
  • Travel to customer events infrequently (up to a few times per year) as needed.

The salary range for this role is $63,236.25– $94,466.90 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
