Job Title: Business Development Manager – Industrial & Aerospace Reports To: Director of Sales Travel: 30–50% (Customers & Manufacturing Sites) Job Summary We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and provide technical sales support within the Industrial and Aerospace markets. In this role, you will identify customer engineering challenges, deliver tailored products and component solutions, and manage the technical interface for program launches. This position focuses heavily on expanding market share with existing accounts and building strong distributor relationships. Key Responsibilities Account Growth: Build relationships with distributors and customer engineering teams to identify new opportunities and expand market share. Technical Support: Partner with the sales team to develop, validate, and present engineered solutions to clients. Launch Management: Lead technical interfaces for program launches and engineering changes, driving milestones for profitability and timing. Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of product lines, applications, and competitor offerings to make expert recommendations. Looking for commutable candidates. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of technical or industrial sales experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree. Skills: Strong understanding of GD&T/descriptive geometry. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/project tracking tools. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Aerospace AS9100 or Automotive APQP/PPAP systems is highly beneficial.
