Job description

Job Title

Conducts new model tooling introductions, process investigations studies and rundown strategy improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs online tooling performance studies and report findings to Nissan Engineering.
  • Collects torque data as requested by the customer.
  • Assist in tooling performance investigations and helps provide countermeasures.
  • Maintains files and records of tool evaluations.
  • Provides weekly reports of completed tooling evaluations to the customer.
  • Serves as a back-up for Quality Technicians and Calibration Technicians.
  • Communicates with management, maintenance, and other employees in a timely manner when quality activities dictate action.
  • Develop proficiency to train and coach others.
  • Maintain a safety and customer service mindset at all times.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
  • QC/QA background preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Must demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, honesty, integrity and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to learn basic electrical and mechanical concepts.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
