OCM has provided high-quality professional janitorial services in commercial office buildings, warehouse and logistics centers, education facilities, and healthcare facilities in Columbus and the surrounding areas.

About This Role

Custodians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the client's facility, including, but not limited to, removing trash, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning and stocking restrooms and performing other various cleaning duties as assigned at the contracted site.

Custodian Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service to our clients in the form of comprehensive, detailed cleaning and a friendly demeanor.
  • Clean floors using various methods and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize touch points and surfaces.
  • Restock and clean restrooms.
  • Inform supervisor when inventory is low.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Custodian Requirements

  • Successfullypassa background check, fingerprinting, and a 10-panel drug screen.
  • Able tooperatemechanical equipment (i.e.vacuums, scrubbers, strippers, etc.)
  • Able to use reasoning and judgment
  • Able to apply math skills to various custodial tasks (i.e.how much cleaning solution needed for area being cleaned)
  • Able to communicate in writing effectively
  • Ableto stand, walk, bend twist, knell at various times through theentire shift
  • Ableto liftand move, up to 40 pounds
