About Netwoven

Netwoven is a Microsoft focused consulting firm helping enterprises modernize workplace productivity, security & compliance, cloud infrastructure, AI solutions, and business applications. Founded by former leaders from Microsoft, Oracle, and Intel, we blend technical excellence with pragmatic, outcome driven delivery.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager – Security & Infrastructure at Netwoven. This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex client engagements across security, identity, infrastructure, and cloud platforms. This role sits at the intersection of delivery leadership, client management, and execution excellence, ensuring projects deliver measurable business outcomes while meeting Netwoven’s quality, security, and financial standards.

While the primary focus is security and infrastructure, this role frequently intersects with Microsoft 365, collaboration, and data platforms, especially where identity, compliance, governance, and secure collaboration outcomes are required. The Engagement Manager ensures seamless coordination across technical teams while serving as the trusted delivery point of contact for customers. This position is 100% remote.

What You Will Do
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of security and infrastructure engagements, from kickoff through closure
  • Serve as the primary delivery contact for customer stakeholders, including IT leadership, security teams, and business sponsors
  • Establish trust with clients by proactively managing scope, risks, dependencies, and expectations
  • Translate business objectives into structured delivery plans with clear milestones and outcomes
  • Lead engagements across areas such as:
    • Cloud infrastructure (Azure / hybrid environments)
    • Identity and access management (Entra ID, identity governance)
    • Security, compliance, and risk management
    • Secure collaboration architectures involving Microsoft 365
  • Drive disciplined project execution using Netwoven delivery standards
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, and partner teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery
  • Identify and resolve delivery risks early, escalating appropriately when needed
  • Own engagement financials including forecasting, billing accuracy, margin management, and change control
  • Ensure alignment between scope, effort, and revenue recognition
  • Track and report engagement health using agreed‑upon KPIs
  • Support services leadership with forecasts, staffing plans, and utilization insights
  • Work closely with:
    • Sales and pre‑sales teams for smooth handoff and scope validation
    • Solution architects to align design intent with delivery execution
    • Practice leaders to ensure consistency with Netwoven standards and offerings
  • Provide feedback into offerings, delivery playbooks, and reusable assets based on field experience
  • Ensure all engagements meet Netwoven’s quality, security, and compliance standards
  • Reinforce security‑by‑design principles across infrastructure and collaboration scenarios
  • Validate that delivered solutions align with Microsoft best practices and customer governance requirements
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in IT consulting, delivery management, or technical program management
  • Proven experience leading security and/or infrastructure engagements in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure
    • Identity and access management concepts
    • Security, compliance, risk, and governance fundamentals
  • Experience delivering projects involving Microsoft 365, even if not collaboration‑centric
  • Strong financial acumen for managing fixed‑price and time‑and‑materials engagements
  • Excellent communication skills—able to engage confidently with technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft security platforms (e.g., Entra ID, Purview, Defender, Sentinel)
  • Prior consulting experience in a Microsoft‑focused services firm
  • Familiarity with secure collaboration, data governance, or compliance‑driven workloads
  • PMP, Agile, or equivalent delivery certification
  • Experience working with distributed/global delivery teams
Benefits & Culture
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • 401(k) and HSA options.
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • Professional development opportunities and employee recognition programs.
  • A fun, friendly, and supportive work environment committed to work-life balance.
