Assistant General Manager – Full-Service Restaurant

$70,000 - $75,000 + Bonus

This renowned full-service restaurant group is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support daily operations, lead high-performing teams, and help drive continued success.

Your Role with the Company:

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, strong team execution, and an exceptional guest experience
  • Maintain a visible floor presence during service, engaging with guests, supporting team members, and helping ensure brand standards are upheld
  • Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members, fostering a positive, accountable, and hospitality-driven culture
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure the restaurant is well-prepared for each shift
  • Monitor service flow and operational efficiency, proactively identifying and resolving issues during high-volume periods
  • Respond to guest concerns professionally and promptly, helping protect guest loyalty and uphold the restaurant's reputation
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, SOPs, health and safety regulations, and all sanitation and food handling requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Assistant General Manager or Senior Manager in a $5M+ full-service restaurant with a bar
  • Proven ability to support operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting
  • Upscale restaurant experience preferred, though not required
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and effective under pressure, especially during busy meal periods
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Loyal, dependable, and committed to building a positive team culture
  • Genuine passion for hospitality, service excellence, and great food
