Job description

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic, detail-driven People & Culture Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to dive deep into three essential areas of People & Culture: employee engagement, people development, and people operations. You'll be at the heart of our human resources efforts, contributing to impactful projects and gaining hands-on experience. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact, we want to hear from you.
This position is expected to start September 2026 and continue through the entire Fall 2026 term (through December 2026). Our internships are a minimum of 12 weeks, part-time (20 to 25 hours) and on-site.
 
People Operations 
  • Assist with People & Culture administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and processing paperwork 
  • Support payroll, benefits, safety and compliance by organizing data and ensuring accuracy 
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and terminations 
  • Collaborate on projects to gain practical experience; learn and contribute to people operations processes 
People Development 
  • Assist in planning and organizing learning programs  
  • Curate learning resources (articles, podcasts, LinkedIn Learning courses)  
  • Track employee participation in learning initiatives and compile insights on engagement 
  • Research industry trends to suggest new training ideas 
  • Collect and creatively document learning and development success stories  
Employee Engagement
  • Assist in planning, executing, and improving employee engagement initiatives, events, programs, and platforms; including DEIB efforts, 4U intranet (SharePoint), and company-wide events 
  • Improve organization within the P&C storage spaces and establish a tracking and distribution system for internal swag 
  • Support internal communication efforts, including crafting content for newsletters and announcement

The Ideal Person

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software is a plus 
  • Familiarity with using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or other generative AI platforms
