Executive Chef Bakery & Culinary InnovationDistrict | New Orleans

District is looking for a creative, hands-on culinary leader to oversee kitchen operations across multiple locations and concepts while helping drive menu development and product innovation.
This role combines kitchen leadership, baking expertise, and food R&D. Youll work closely with ownership to evolve the menu, improve kitchen systems, and help create the future of District.

What You'll Do
Kitchen Leadership

  • Oversee kitchen operations across multiple locations and concepts
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and execution standards
  • Train and mentor kitchen teams and managers
  • Improve kitchen workflow and operational systems
Bakery Program

  • Lead and oversee bakery production and dough programs
  • Ensure consistency and quality of all baked goods
  • Improve production systems for efficiency and scale
Menu Development & R&D

  • Develop new pastries, breakfast/brunch items, and sandwiches
  • Create seasonal features and menu innovations
  • Test recipes and refine processes for kitchen execution
Operational Performance

  • Monitor food cost, purchasing and support menu pricing decisions
  • Improve kitchen labor efficiency and production flow
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
  • Strong baking or pastry experience

  • 5+ years of kitchen leadership
