Job description

 JOB TITLE: Culinary CoordinatorSUMMARY: Reporting to the VP of Culinary, the Culinary Coordinator will be responsible for managing the schedule(s) of the chefs for food presentations, travel, on and offsite events, assist with service during presentations. Work with Chefs to create content for social media, assist VP of Culinary managing department repair and maintenance schedule. EDUCATION: Associates or BA or equivalent certification Excellent Written English Language Skills Advanced knowledge of MS Office EXPERIENCE:Experience working in fine dining is a plusAbility to speak culinary terminology with Clients, Executive Chefs, Kitchen Managers, and Restaurant Owners Front of house experience required Familiarity with food safety rules Serve safe certification Excellent FOH service skillsStrong communication skills Professional demeanor and image Demonstrated ability to successfully execute duties in a responsible and responsive manner Excellent written, verbal, and communication skillsSelf-motivated with proven time management skills JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Edit and print menus for presentations Maintain and manage Calendar of events for the Culinary DeptAssist with the creation of content for social media as required Responsible for leading Dining room service in a professional and high end manner Speak with clients regarding various types of appetizers, entrees and desserts; discuss ingredients and methods of preparation. Knowledge of basic sous vide technique. Attend trade shows and assist with food demonstration presentations. Know the compositions and attributes of Cuisine Solutions products. Must be able to understand and follow GMP, company food safety and quality policies Must be able to travel to support sales teams / food Presentations.  Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
