About the Role

The Commercial Sales Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Commercial Sales organization through Salesforce administration, CRM process governance, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional operational alignment across the Lead-to-Order (L2O) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle.

This individual will serve as a key Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted business partner to Sales, Finance, Operations, and Customer teams by helping manage pipeline integrity, quote/order accuracy, forecasting visibility, revenue process alignment, and scalable operational workflows.

The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce expertise with operational business acumen and the ability to support end-to-end commercial processes from lead generation through order execution, invoicing, and delivery visibility.

What You Will Do

Salesforce Administration & CRM Operations

  • Serve as the primary Salesforce support resource and day-to-day CRM administrator for the Commercial Sales organization.
  • Maintain and improve Salesforce data integrity across Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders, Assets, and related commercial objects.
  • Support Salesforce configuration enhancements including workflows, automation, validation rules, page layouts, fields, reporting, dashboards, and user support.
  • Monitor and enforce pipeline hygiene, stage progression accuracy, required field completion, and forecasting consistency.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on CRM enhancements, integrations, and system optimization initiatives.
  • Support CRM alignment across Salesforce, ERP systems, quoting processes, and operational reporting tools.

Lead-to-Order (L2O) & Order-to-Cash (O2C) Process Support

  • Act as an operational SME supporting Sales and Finance teams across Lead-to-Order and Order-to-Cash workflows.
  • Support quoting, pricing approvals, order governance, booking validation, and commercial process execution.
  • Ensure accurate order entry and commercial data alignment between Salesforce, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Assist in managing bookings, backlog, invoicing visibility, shipment tracking, and delivery status reporting.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve process efficiency, operational visibility, and revenue reporting accuracy.
  • Identify process gaps, operational bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies impacting commercial execution.

Reporting, Forecasting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards and operational reporting for pipeline health, bookings, backlog, forecasting, shipments, and sales performance.
  • Support recurring executive reporting and ad hoc business analysis requests.
  • Assist leadership with forecast accuracy improvements and revenue visibility initiatives.
  • Analyze commercial trends, pipeline risks, aging opportunities, and process adherence metrics.
  • Support data validation and reporting consistency across Sales, Finance, and Operations.

Sales Enablement & Cross-Functional Support

  • Provide day-to-day Salesforce support and troubleshooting for Commercial Sales users.
  • Develop training materials, process documentation, and operational playbooks.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing training for Salesforce and commercial process workflows.
  • Drive adherence to standardized sales stages, approval processes, and operational procedures.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Customer teams to improve business process alignment and execution.
Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, CRM Administration, or Commercial Operations.
  • Hands-on Salesforce administration and support experience required.
  • Strong understanding of Lead-to-Order (L2O) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
  • Experience supporting quoting, order management, pipeline governance, forecasting, and revenue operations.
  • Advanced Salesforce reporting and dashboard experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with focus on data accuracy and process consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working closely with Finance and Operations teams.
  • Experience improving pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and operational reporting.
