The Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai provides comprehensive neonatal care through its Level IIIB NICU, strategically located near the labor, delivery, and postpartum units to ensure seamless, high-quality care for mothers and babies. Sinai Hospital—Maryland’s largest community hospital with 483 licensed beds—also serves as a training hub for over 140 residents and 400 medical students annually, blending academic excellence with compassionate care.

NICU (Children’s Services)
As a Critical Care Technician in the NICU at Sinai Hospital, you will play an essential role in delivering safe, age-appropriate care to neonates and their families. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, you'll use your specialized knowledge and critical care skills to support high-acuity patients during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-appropriate care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to address the complex needs of neonatal patients and their families.
  • Support emergency and routine interventions using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
  • Function as a knowledgeable resource and technician within the NICU setting.

Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland Board of Nursing CNA or GNA License required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
