Job description

Advance your critical care nursing career in a dynamic environment where your ICU expertise makes a lasting impact. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work within a large healthcare facility dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes and high standards in acute care.
Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position (specific assignment length provided during interview process)
Key Qualifications:
  • Active and unencumbered RN license required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years recent ICU experience in an acute care setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications, current and valid
  • Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • EMR proficiency for accurate documentation and workflow
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient acuity and fast-paced situations
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver complex, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients
  • Respond rapidly to patient deterioration and participate in code situations
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatments accurately
  • Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Advocate for patients and families, providing education and support throughout treatment
  • Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and all regulatory standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning

$1,845 - $2,007/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
