Job Overview
This position will support our schedulers by working closely with the primary capital scheduler and coordinating multiple tree crews' schedules to complete work. The primary program used will be QuickBase, with additional tools including Maximo, OMS, and Outlook. The role requires daily interaction with other schedulers.
Job Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and oversee vegetation clearance activities.
• Prioritize work according to the department's strategy.
• Schedule contract tree crews and manage routes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Read and understand company design jobs and sketches.
• Ensure contract tree crew performance meets company standards and specifications.
Continuously analyze crew productivity to ensure benefits align with statements of work.
• Verify internal work orders have correct accounting strings for project tracking; make corrections as needed.
• Notify applicable departments when accounting exceptions require attention.
• Perform departmental forecasting and reporting activities.
• Communicate suggestions related to scheduling and crew management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Earth Science, Horticulture, Geology, Forestry, Natural Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Good computer skills.
• Quick learner and Team player.
Preferred Skills

• Highly organized.

• Utilities experience is preferred but not required.
